MEAN WELL PSC Series:

The PSC Security series power supplies without a casing (or with a partial casing) are intended for operation in monitoring systems, access control, alarm systems, etc. Models PSC-35, PSC-60, PSC-100 and PSC-160 with an external battery can work as UPS. Discharge protection avoids over-discharging the battery. The lack of a housing gives a lot of freedom to install power supplies inside the devices, and the input and output connectors allow you to connect the cables.

The series PSC have built-in UPS function so that in case of AC input loss, it switches to battery and maintain output continuously. When there mains power is available, the controller gives a stable output while charging the battery at the same time. In case of failure of mains power, the unit maintains the output fed from the battery. These power supplies are suitable for security applications, access control and any application that must continue to function even with a power outage.

These are protected against overloads, short-circuit in the output, output over voltage, low battery and reverse battery polarity (by fuse). Also feature alarms by signal: TTL open collector which alert us in case of network failure or when the output voltage is lower than a certain value, indicating that the capacity of the battery is low.
